Battletech: The Frontier Lands

One of the main goals in Frontiers, if not the Main Goal, is to advance by buying bigger and better mechs. You do this by buying and selling.

There are a few basic commands that we need to look at when we talk about Buying and Selling.

Note: Most of these commands must be done from a spawn room.
  • unit - The help file for the Unit system
  • unitpl - Shows what units are availible for purchase.
Things to remember about purchase lists:
  • Purchase lists change once every hour.
  • Prices in green are those you can afford to buy.
  • Prices are in XP, and you use XP to buy mechs.
  • unitbuy <unit> - Buys the [unit] that you want from your purchase list.
  • unitsell <unit> - Sells a unit that you own for XP. This is a percentage of the unit's original price.
  • unitestimate <unit> - Tells you how much XP you will recieve for selling the unit back with the sell-back deduction.
  • unitnewpl - Forces a refresh of your purchase list for 100 C-Bills. This can only be done once per hour.
  • unitoffer <Player>/<unit>/<XP> - Offers to sell a Player one of your Units for XP.

Limited Availability Units

You can also earn Limited Availability Units by doing certain things. These aren't permanently owned but are much cheaper and often equal or more powerful than permanently owned units.
