XCODE is a broad term for the softcode interface to the Battletech extensions. This system is the very essence of what adds the "Battletech" to "MUX". Mechs are XCODE objects, maps are XCODE objects, autopilots are XCODE objects, etc. Any object may become an XCODE object as long as its Image:Attrib.gif XTYPE attribute is set along with the XCODE flag. For each Image:Attrib.gif XTYPE there are a different set of behaviors that the object in question inherits.

Tip: To see the xcode values on an XCODE object use @viewxcode.
